Survey to obtain Wyoming cattle producer feedback

CHEYENNE, Wyo. – The Wyoming Beef Council (WBC) has partnered with the Cattlemen's Beef Board for the winter Producer Attitude Survey to obtain Wyoming cattle producers feedback.

The WBC, a five-member board of beef producers, works on behalf of the cattle growers of Wyoming to increase beef demand domestically and internationally for the benefit of Wyoming farmers and ranchers. WBC programs are funded by the $1-per-head beef checkoff collected on all Wyoming cattle when they are sold.

"The survey will provide important guidance to the Wyoming Beef Council for program direction and communication needs," said Ann Wittmann, executive director of the Wyoming Beef Council. "Your input is extremely important as the survey helps us assess the knowledge of and support for the beef checkoff among Wyoming investors.  The survey also provides important guidance for future programs."

The Cattlemen's Beef Board conducts national surveys to assess awareness of, attitudes toward, and concerns about the Beef Checkoff Program. If contacted by Aspen Media, an independent survey company, please help the Wyoming Beef Council by participating in the survey.
